Interview with Mason

Description of the Interviewe Mason is a student at the Inter Community School in Zurich. His parents are both teachers at the school and are joining him in Tanzania. His father is a science and P.E teacher (Physical Education) and his mother is a drama teacher.He lived in Canada and Africa as a child. He is one of the students visiting the Second Chance school in Tanzania. |

1. Why do you want to the second chance school in Tanzania? I want to go to the school in Tanzania to help people who arent as priveleged as myself and who grew up in harsh parts of the world.
2. What made you decide to go? My parents are going on the school site and they asked me if I want to come too and I said yes.
3.When are you going? The first two weeks of summer vacation. |

4. What are you looking forward to doing or seeing? I am looking forward to helping the children and going on the safari's
5. What exactly are you going to do in Tanzania? Were going to spend a week helping to build the school and then we are going to go on safari and doing tourist things.
6. Is there anything you do not look forward to or dont want to do? I dont look forward to not having any internet and those type of things. |
7. Do you think it would be something to recommend to other students in the future? Yes,sure if they want to help people.
8.What do you think you will enjoy the most? The safari's and helping the children.
9. What are your expectations of the school and the children? I expect them to be very grateful for the little things they have.

10. Are you only going to help them build the school or is there any other thing you are going to do and if no what you would have liked to have done? I am not going to do anything else because they are on holidays but i would have liked to teach them things like drama.
