The Flag The flag of Tanzania was officially adopted on June 30th, 1964. It is made up of 4 main colours; Green, Yellow, Black, and Blue, each one representing something. Green represents the agriculture and fertility of the land. Blue signifies the Indian Ocean, which is the only coast of Tanzania. The Black stripe in the middle of the flag is a symbol of the people of Tanzania. Finally, the Yellow stripe shows the country's mineral wealth.
Politics The politics of Tanzania have been very much tampered with since they got independance in 1961. Due to Julius Kambarage, one of Tanzanias ex presidents, the country was able to gain it's independance.
Economy The economy of Tanzania could be said as stable, however, it is not like this in the entire country. In parts of Tanzania, there is a very high rate of poverty. One of these places, is Moshi, where our sister school is. Fortunately, there are many donation groups out there to help people who are in need. Tanzania's economy is highly reliant on their produce from Mining, Agriculture and of course, Tourism. As mentioned before, Tanzania attracts a wide variety of people from across the globe. Through tourism, Tanzania also make a lot of money from flights to the capital city. There are three main airlines for Tanzania; Air Tanzania, Precision Air, Mombasa Air, which only provides for local flights, however, there are many private planes which can be taken.
Overall, it shows what an amazing nation Tanzania is. With it's vivid landscape and fantastic attractions, it forms itself as an amazing country.
Asante Sana! (Thank you in Swahili)
